Can Cheshire accounts be accessed in Nationwide branches and vice versa?

Cheshire customers cannot visit Nationwide branches to discuss their savings accounts and mortgages.

This is because that although the Cheshire is a Trading Division of Nationwide, we operate across completely different systems and have different processes. Therefore staff at Nationwide branches cannot access any of your Cheshire Building Society information.

Please be aware that for the same reasons you cannot discuss your Nationwide savings accounts or mortgages at a Cheshire branch as our staff will not have access to any of this information.

Can Nationwide account details be used for ID purposes?

Cheshire customers cannot use Nationwide account details as a substitute for our standard ID requirements.

This is because that although the Cheshire is a Trading Division of Nationwide, we operate across completely different systems and have different processes. Therefore we have no way of verifying or accessing any Nationwide customer information.
