Sponsorship information
The Cheshire has a long history of supporting its communities and, complementing this, we also provide major funding through sponsorship. Details of our current affinity relationships are listed below.
Macclesfield Town Football Club
The Cheshire is the main sponsor of Macclesfield Town Football Club.

The Club has a large following in the area and the Cheshire, as one of Macclesfield's biggest employers, supports the club as part of our commitment to the community.
The Cheshire has already been shown to be a keen supporter of the Club, sponsoring the disabled stand at the Moss Rose ground as well as launching the 'Silkmen Saver' . The Cheshire donates 1% of the average balance held in Silkmen Saver accounts directly to the club, with all funds raised through the account being invested in youth schemes and player development.
Warrington Wolves
The Cheshire is proud to partner Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club (opens a new window - you will be leaving the Cheshire's website) both on the field and off. Not only is Cheshire Building Society one of Warrington Wolves’ major commercial sponsors, we are also great supporters of their highly successful Community Learning & Sport Foundation which continues to develop and benefit young people, their families and the local community through providing positive, rewarding experiences. These include ‘outreach’ activities such as the wide ranging coaching and Assembly programmes delivered into Warrington’s 72 Primary and 12 Secondary schools.
The Cheshire also runs two savings accounts, the Super Wolves Saver Account and Wolf Pack, both of which benefit the Club directly as each year Cheshire Building Society donates 1% of the average balances held in these accounts directly back to the club.
Barnardo’s Business Breakfast Manchester
Cheshire Building Society is very proud of its Community Support Programme and the sponsorship of Barnardo's Business Breakfasts is just one way in which the Cheshire demonstrates how business behaviour can make a real difference to the communities in which we operate.

Barnardo’s in the North West provides vital services for more than 21,000 children, young people and their families across Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria.
The money raised at the Breakfast Meetings helps to ensure that Barnardo’s can carry on working with the most vulnerable children and young people across the North West helping them to fulfill their true potential.
The Cheshire Association Football League
In 2006 Cheshire Building Society entered a partnership with the Cheshire Association Football League (opens in a new window - you will be leaving the Cheshire's website) in a 3 year deal to become the official League sponsor.
The League (formerly the Mid Cheshire League) is a Saturday League and offers competitive Association Football to Clubs based within a 35 mile radius of League Headquarters in Northwich, Cheshire.
The League is based around the Cheshire’s heartland and envelopes many communities that we consider to be vital to the continued growth of our business.
