3.The branch network now extends throughout the North West of England and includes 49 building society branches, 13 property service branches and two Mortgage Advice Centres.
The Cheshire now employs over 700 staff and ranks 11th in size out of a total of 63 UK building societies. It is a successful, independent, regionally based society with a strong commitment to mutuality, which has achieved profitable growth through the provision of competitive investments, mortgages and complementary financial services. However, we operate nationally, following the successful launch of our eCommerce and intermediary channels.
4.The Cheshire has a policy of promoting from within wherever possible, 68 internal promotions took place in 2002 demonstrating this commitment.

6. Ceebees is Cheshire Building Society's Social Club, funded solely by the sale of shares. Every member of staff, whether a shareholder or not, is a member of Ceebees and therefore entitled to take advantage of the events, sports teams and trips organised by us each year.
