As a valued Cheshire ISA account holder, you already have the peace of mind of knowing that your savings are in safe hands. However, with the end of the tax year approaching now is the perfect time to make your money work even harder and take full advantage of your Cash ISA tax-free allowance.
Top up your Cash ISA before 5th April 2010 to use your full allowance
If you have not used all of your Cash ISA allowance for 2009/10, it's worth remembering that you can save up to £3600 (or £5,100 if you are 50 or over during the current tax year*) in a Cash ISA before the tax year ends. Act today to beat the tax man and avoid paying tax on this portion of your savings by topping up your Cash ISA to the maximum allowance.
If you hold an Instant Access Cash ISA
Instant Access ISA account holders can still top-up before the tax year end. Account holders can save upto £3600 (or £5,100 if aged 50 or over during the current tax year*) in a Cash ISA for the tax year 2009/10.
