Credit Crunch in Middlewich
8th May 2008
As the credit crunch continues to bite, Cheshire Building Society hopes to help Middlewich consumers who are worried about how this will impact their finances. The Society, located on Wheelock Street, is offering residents free financial reviews throughout the summer and holding a mortgage and property open evening along with its Cheshire Estate Agency team on Thursday 15th May between 5:00 and 7:00 pm where individuals can receive free expert financial advice.
The Society’s experienced advisers are available to discuss the full range of financial needs from mortgages to investments and everything in between.
Cheshire Building Society’s Branch Manager Angela Davies said: “Experts are predicting a rise in the cost of living, redundancies and insolvencies coupled with a property slump and short supply of credit. This will have an impact across the country, including right here in Middlewich.
“We are very much a part of the Middlewich community and want to help our neighbours any way we can, particularly anyone who is having a difficult time at the moment.
“We talk to people every day and we know they are concerned about many different financial issues and how the credit crunch may affect businesses in Middlewich. We want to let them know we are here to help them through.”
Anyone who would like more information can call into the branch or telephone 01606 832 178 and make an appointment with one of the Society’s experienced advisers.
